If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary team who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aFacilities Engineer located in Austin, TX.\nReporting to the Facilities Manager the Facilities Engineer role applies engineering values to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment or processes used in processing or manufacturing products.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nResearches facility products or equipment specifications and performance requirements to define designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.\nResearches engineering proposals, process requirements and related technical data pertaining to industrial facilities machinery and equipment design.\nDefines feasibility of designing new plant facilities equipment or modifying existing facilities considering costs, available space, time limitations, company planning and other technical and economic factors.\nProvides technical facilities information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties and process advantages and limitations which affect long range plant and product engineering planning.\nCompiles and researches facilities research data to establish performance standards for newly designed or modified equipment.\nStudies engineering and technical publications to keep abreast of technical changes and developments in industry.\nUses computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.\nGuides projects and project teams.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, related degree or equivalent experience and training. \nRequires a minimum of 6+ years of related experience.Prefer some knowledge of manufacturing operations.\nDemonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills. \nExecutes functional strategic plans and objectives at the site.Matter Expertise in one or more of the following areas: clean rooms, Walk-in Coolers & Freezers, RO/DI Water systems, Waste Neutralization, Compressed gas distribution systems, vacuum systems, Process chillers and non-clean utilities.\nManufacturing plant construction in a cGMP industry; preferably in Medical Devices or Pharma.Facilities Engineering construction activity at MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Process) discipline.Fault/Root Cause Analysis and Review (FRACAS).Utilities (steam, cooling media, heating media, water systems, compressed air).\nKR13\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
