If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\nGeneral Purpose:\nMember of the Global Mobility team with primary responsibility to provide program support for Global Mobility Immigration and Relocation (Domestic/Int’l/Assignment) Programs.\nPrinciple Accountabilities:\nThe Global Mobility Specialist supports the day-to-day immigration responsibilities, facilitating the process for both internal foreign nationals and identified foreign national candidates to obtain work authorization and/or other immigration needs. Specifically, works closely with the Global Mobility Manager in all immigration and relocation related matters. The role may fluctuate to meet program/project (Relo/Int’l) needs.\nThe Mobility Specialist will be the primary point of contact for the immigration and international and domestic relocation programs in Malaysia, and will support the relocation program in Asia, working closely with the Global Mobility Manager.\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Global Mobility Senior Specialist located in Bukit Minyak, Penang.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nImmigration\nKnowledge of immigration law and overall immigration processes in Malaysia\nWork closely with local immigration vendor on conducting assessments for hiring foreign nationals.\nObtaining approvals for extensions or change of status with management and HR and working closely with the immigration vendor on the extensions.\nInform immigration firm about employees’ change of employment status for immigration purposes.\nReview, track and approval all invoices for all immigration services.\nWork with immigration vendor to maintain employer registration with relevant governmental authority\nRelocation\nOversees day-to-day international and domestic relocation of new hires in Malaysia\nProvides support for hires and interface with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, and HR business Partners for all relocation queries.\nPrepare relocation cost estimates, and net-to-net calculation (if needed)\nFollows up regularly with employees to obtain feedback on relocation process and experience. \nEnsures relocation documentation and web information updated on a regular basis.\nKnowledgeable of relocation policies for Malaysia domestic and international and may assist with global relocation policy interpretation and application.\nInternational Assignments\nProvides assistance to the Global Mobility team as requested.\nKnowledgeable of global and local policy and program processes.\nProvide assistance on the updating of international assignment documentation.\nMaintains data and information for reporting purposes.\nAssist in international assignment, permanent transfer, extended business trip and new hire administration (cost projection, analysis and general program development and administration).\nUnderstands tax compliance program and supports tax preparation services with authorization lists, collecting compensation information from payroll and other relevant sources.\nCoordinate tax equalization settlements, payments and collections.\nAssist in oversight of frequent business travelers, maintaining calendars and adding to authorization lists.\nCoordinate with payroll and Relocation Company on international assignment payments and policy implementation.\nCoordinate with US and EMEA counterparts on assignment and transfer deliverables. \nFrequent Business Travelers\nManages communications to employees and data collection for application of DTA exemption in Malaysia\nundefined Data Management Manage input of data and output of reports from global mobility databases.Provide vendors and HR/payroll groups with data to handle payroll calculations/reporting.Responsible for data collection cycles associated with compensation and benefits surveys and tax preparation season.Follow up regularly with employees to obtain feedback on relocation process and experience.Ensure relocation documentation and web information updated on a regular basis.Assist with regular and ad-hoc requests for mobility (immigration, relocation, tax) cost reports.Assist with the billing process of mobility expenses when required.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a Human Resource related function. Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of Human Resources or related experience.\nFunctional knowledge, education background or relevant working experience required.\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
