The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Industrial Engineering Manager located on Flex North.\nReporting to the Sr Director, Operations theIndustrial Engineering Manager Responsible for managing a team of industrial engineers working on increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nManages a team of engineers and technicians to establish work measurement programs and evaluates work samples to develop standards for labor utilization. \nEvaluates staff utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to define efficient utilization of workers and equipment. \nRecommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocation work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment. \nMay develop management systems for cost reviews, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation \nDevelops management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost reviews, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality. \nDesigns or improve systems for the physical distribution of goods and services, as well as defining the most efficient plant locations. \nOrganizes details into a broad view of the total operations and organization of Flex. \nPartners with other engineering team members to design manufacturable new products \nManages initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas. \nImplements appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce \nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\n Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.\n7+ years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operational Excellence, or related manufacturing environments.\nProven experience leading teams of engineers and technicians in high-volume manufacturing operations.\nStrong knowledge of work measurement systems, labor standards development, time studies, methods analysis, and workforce optimization.\nExperience conducting capacity analysis, line balancing, staffing models, labor utilization studies, and productivity improvement initiatives.\nExpertise in facility layout design, workflow optimization, material flow analysis, and manufacturing process improvement.\nDemonstrated experience driving cost reduction, waste elimination, and operational efficiency projects.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, and Operational Excellence methodologies.\nExperience analyzing production costs, labor efficiency, equipment utilization, and operational performance metrics.\nStrong understanding of production planning, resource allocation, inventory control, and manufacturing execution processes.\nExperience developing management control systems, financial planning tools, cost analysis models, and operational reporting systems.\nAbility to evaluate and improve end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes to increase throughput and reduce operational constraints.\nExperience partnering with Product Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives and new product introductions (NPI).\nStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.\nAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data-driven decision-making methodologies.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.\nExperience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing reporting platforms.\nStrong leadership, coaching, and people development skills.\nAdvanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Engineering.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nKC10\nJob Category\nProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
