If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Industrial Engineering Manager located in Prai, Penang.\nResponsible for managing a team of industrial engineers working on increasing productivity through the management of workers, methods of business organization, and technology to solve organizational, production, and related problems efficiently.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nManages a team of engineers and technicians to establish work measurement programs and evaluates work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.\n\nEvaluates staff utilization, facility layout, and operational data, such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to define efficient utilization of workers and equipment.\n\nRecommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities, such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocationwork stationsand equipment, and purchase of equipment.\n\nMay develop management systems for cost reviews, financial planning, wage and salary administration, and job evaluation\n\nDevelops management control systems to aid in financial planning and cost reviews, and design production planning and control systems to coordinate activities and ensure product quality.\n\nDesigns or improve systems for the physical distribution of goods and services, as well as defining the most efficient plant locations.\n\nOrganizes details into a broad view of the total operations and organization of Flex.\n\nPartners with other engineering team members to design manufacturable new products.\n\nManages initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.\n\nImplements appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
