If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Industrial Engineering Technician to our team.\nReporting to the Industrial Engineer, the Industrial Engineering Technician will support engineering services activities such as hardware and software design and development (non-production) within the manufacturing operations at Flex.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\n\nPerform complex engineering tests, product evaluations, and development activities to support manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollect, analyze, and interpret engineering and process data to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and optimize performance.\nSet up, execute, and document testing of equipment, components, and assemblies to validate designs and ensure compliance with customer and engineering specifications.\nAssist engineers with the design, development, modification, and implementation of hardware, software, tooling, and test solutions.\nCreate, maintain, and organize technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, procedures, test reports, and engineering records.\nCollaborate with internal teams, customers, and third-party partners to support product development, problem resolution, and project execution.\nTrain technicians and operators on products, equipment, processes, and best practices to support operational excellence.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\n\nStrong technical aptitude with the ability to perform complex testing, troubleshooting, equipment validation, and process improvement activities.\nExperience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends, resolve technical issues, and drive operational improvements.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical procedures.\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create reports, present information, and interact with customers and cross-functional teams.\nDemonstrated ability to lead, train, and mentor technicians or operators while supporting multiple projects and priorities.\nWorking knowledge of statistical analysis, mathematical concepts, and problem-solving techniques used in manufacturing and engineering environments.\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
