The Engineering Support Intern will be responsible for supporting the project management work.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nComplete point to points by verifying wire connections from one device to another in the same panel on a wiring diagram.\nProduce device labels by taking information from each device label ID on the wiring diagram and entering that information into a Notepad file.\nManually type, use AutoCAD or Komax programs to complete wire markers\nEnter information into the Term Strip template based on the information given by using special commands and steps in AutoCAD\nProduce nameplates files in AutoCAD using Excel or creating from scratch.\nDraft or make changes to existing AutoCAD files.\nScan provided drawings through a plotter in a specific order to a computer file.\nDifferentiate between and be able to read different types of drawings, including structural, layout, wiring diagram, schematic, etc.\nPoint to Point control cable schedules and communication cable schedules.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nCurrently pursuing education in a relatable field.\nWorking towards a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable field.\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office programs and Google Workspace.\nKnowledge of CAD programs such as AutoCAD and MicroStation.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and hit deadlines.\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills.\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
