If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary:\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Inventory Control Manager 2 to our team.\nReporting to the appropriate Supply Chain or Materials leadership team, the Inventory Control Manager 2 will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, accountability, and control across the site. This role partners closely with customers, planning, purchasing, warehouse operations, and business unit leaders to optimize inventory performance, reduce excess and obsolete material, and drive continuous improvement of inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will leverage strong analytical, leadership, and operational expertise to ensure inventory integrity while supporting business objectives and customer satisfaction.\nWhat a Typical Day Looks Like:\nLead inventory control activities to ensure accurate inventory records, cycle count compliance, and successful physical inventory execution.\n\nCollaborate with customers, purchasing, planning, project management, warehouse operations, and business units to manage inventory performance and meet customer expectations.\n\nAnalyze inventory and materials data from MRP systems to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and improvement opportunities.\n\nManage excess and obsolete inventory disposition activities, including customer negotiations, inventory reduction initiatives, and material sales coordination.\n\nDevelop, implement, and enhance inventory control processes, policies, procedures, and performance metrics to improve operational efficiency and inventory accuracy.\n\nThe Experience We're Looking to Add to the Team:\nStrong inventory control, materials management, supply chain, and analytical problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience leading inventory accuracy initiatives, cycle count programs, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation activities.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and inventory management best practices.\n\nAbility to analyze data, develop meaningful metrics, and drive process improvements across inventory operations.\n\nStrong communication, customer relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n\nAbility to interpret business requirements, customer agreements, operational procedures, and inventory data to support decision-making.\n\nDemonstrated leadership skills with experience coaching, mentoring, and managing teams.\n\nTypically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\n\nTypically requires a minimum of 8 years of materials, inventory control, supply chain, or related experience.\n\nRA28\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainIs Sponsorship Available?\nNoFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
