If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Engineer - Manufacturing Engineering in Chennai, India.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nCreate Work Instruction for New Product and Update Work Instruction for Engineering Changes, Support Cycle time estimation study and NRE estimation (NRE) estimation for Request for Quote (RFQ) preparation\nCreate Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis for New product\nSupport for Tools, Jigs & Fixture design for product assembly\nSupport for Design for Manufacturing, Design for mechanical assembly\nSupport for Penalization for PCB fabrication\nPrepare Daily plan / production down time analysis report\nSupporting for convert PCB cad files and 3D cad files from one format to another format.\nPrepare Over all equipment efficiency report (OEE) and Equipment utilization report\nPerform Multiphysics stimulation\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nSkilled in Fixture Tools design softwares like SolidWorks, Auto CAD , Creo etc..\nShould have very good knowledge in Manufacturing tool designing process\nRecognize the manufacturing process, technologies, techniques, and the product.\nDefine, implement, and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability\nDevelop and maintain process documentation.\nProvide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities and gives in.\nParticipate in activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements.\nAptitude to work with a multi-functional team to define requirements and suitable metrics for the performance of new products and process.\nKnowledge & direct experience in NPI operations and manufacturing engineering.\nAble to perform root cause analysis and resolve problems\nExperience with Continuous Process Improvement, Kanban and Lean manufacturing principals.\nFlexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic startup environment\nWork with other engineering team members to improve existing design or Process.\nKnowledge of MS office and MS outlook\nExcellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.\nGood analytical skills.\nCoaching & mentoring skills.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nHealth Insurance\nPTO\nBB04\nJob Category\nProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex pays for all costs associated with the application, interview or offer process, a candidate will not be asked for any payment related to these costs.Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
