If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Junior Engineer - Quality inPune.\nIn this role, you will be maintaining quality engineering programs, standards and improvements within the organization.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nCarry out supplier validation audits, with supplier support and supplier advanced product quality planning (APQP)\nLead the supplier approval process by assessing manufacturing/technology capabilities and Health, Safety and Environmental risks\nSupport new product launches to ensure that supplier quality meets the required standards\nFollow up with suppliers for root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues\nPerform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues\nReview supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities\nPromote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis, and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)\nFacilitate the escalation of unresolved supplier quality issues within assigned projects and suppliers\nSupport the Quality Manager to monitor and report on supplier product quality and performance.\nManage and coordinate supplier Material/Non Material cost recovery for Supplier Quality issues\nSupport in Internal /External Audit readiness\nUndertake special projects as required.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\n0 to 1 years of Strong knowledge of Quality\nB.E/B.Tech (E&TC, EEE, Mech)\nPlanning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)\nLean Manufacturing knowledge\nKnowledge of quality and business systems\nStrong knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA)\nLean Manufacturing knowledge\nKnowledge of TS16949\nKnowledge of ISO45001/OHSAS18001\nUnderstanding of ISO14001\nKnowledge of measurement techniques.\nNight Shift\nHere are a few examples of what you will get for the great work you provide:\nPaid Time Off\nHealth Insurance\nBB04\nJob Category\nQualityRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex pays for all costs associated with the application, interview or offer process, a candidate will not be asked for any payment related to these costs.Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
