If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Lead located in Buffalo Grove, IL.\nReporting to the Associate Production Supervisor, the Production Lead role involve being responsible for providing leadership and direction to groups of non-exempt employees\n0600p-0600a Rotating Shift\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nProvide on the job coaching and training of individuals.\nInitiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.\nCoordinate people resource requirements for the department.\nAssist in department budget planning and manage department expenses.\nCommunicate daily plan and any production or customer service issues\nHighlight material shortages, interface with Expediter/Purchasing on any part shortages\nReport and alert resources concerning downtime.\nInterface with Test Support/Maintenance on equipment problems.\nTrack time for NPI/Pre-production/re-work.\nCommunicate with opposite shift to ensure communication flow.\nUpdate department communication boards.\nFollow quality indicators.
