If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nPrinciple Accountabilities:\nProvide ongoing feedback on performance of individuals through both formal and informal evaluations.\nInitiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.\nCoordinate people resource requirements for the department.\nAssist in department budget planning and manage department expenses.\nCommunicate daily plan and any production or customer service issues\nHighlight material shortages, interface with Expediter/Purchasing on any part shortages\nRecognize and monitor bottlenecks.\nReport and alert resources concerning downtime.\nInterface with Test Support/Maintenance on equipment problems.\nTrack time for NPI/Pre-production/re-work.\nCommunicate with opposite shift to ensure communication flow.\nUpdate department communication boards.\nFollow quality indicators. Stop and alert if predefined indicators are below target.\nPrimary contact for response to situations where scrap is occurring in any process step.\nEducation / Experience\nTypically requires an Associate’s Degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience. Typically requires 2 years of related experience.\nKnowledge / Skills / Abilities\nHas awareness of Flex technologies/ techniques. Demonstrates functional and/or process knowledge and participates in process. Requires high level of competency related to function. Demonstrates advanced technical skills. Ability to read and comprehend and interpret moderately complex instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.\nCertificates, Licenses, Registrations\nDecision Making / Discretion.\nScope / Impact\nModerate impact. The employee is occasionally exposed to work that requires repetitive motion, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock and occasionally works in job assignments that may require overtime and 2nd or 3rd shift job assignments as required.
