If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nSummary:\nThe “Legal Counsel ” will be based in Flex Bukit Minyak, Penang\nTo provide legal counsel advice, attend labor litigation process, follow the Corporate policies/ procedures, and eliminate any liability and legal risk for the company.\nResponsibilities:\nCounsel internal clients on commercial legal matters.\n\nManage and control all labor lawsuits and disputes.\n\nCoordinate with external legal labor law firms, providing proper and efficient feedback to our internal customers regarding the status of every case.\n\nParticipate and attend labor litigation process in front of the labor court to obtain the proper settlement.\n\nSupport contract structuring, negotiation, and risk allocation to ensure appropriately balanced commercial, legal, and operational outcomes.\n\nIdentify, assess, and mitigate key risks in commercial engagements to protect the company’s financial and operational interests\n\nManage and oversee labor disputes and litigation, including interactions with external counsel and labor authorities\n\nCoordinate with external labor law firms to ensure effective case handling and timely communication to internal stakeholders.\n\nParticipate in or support labor court proceedings and settlement discussions, ensuring outcomes align with company risk tolerance and legal strategy.\n\nQualifications:\nTypically requires a professional graduate degree in law or equivalent experience and training and a Licensed Attorney\n\nTypically requires 10 years of relevant experience.\n\nDemonstrates strong technical contract drafting and negotiation capabilities, with proven experience supporting complex customer-facing and procurement agreements within a manufacturing or related industry.\n\nBrings a solid understanding of commercial risk allocation and operational realities, combined with effective interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills to influence both internal and external counterparts.\n\nPossesses working knowledge of labor and employment matters and the ability to address related risks in a practical, business-oriented manner.\n\nDemonstrates deep expertise across multiple legal and commercial areas, with a comprehensive understanding of the company’s business model, manufacturing operations, and strategic priorities.\n\nDemonstrates a strong awareness of emerging AI technologies and a clear commitment to continuously developing their AI-related skills to enhance legal service delivery and commercial decision-making.\n\nDemonstrates the ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory frameworks and legal documentation, and effectively respond to detailed inquiries from regulatory authorities.\n\nDemonstrates the ability to communicate complex legal and commercial matters to senior management in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.\n\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical benefits, dental, vision\n\nLife Insurance\n\nPaid Time Off\n\nAllowances & Bonuses*\n\nAA07\nJob Category\nLegalRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
