If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Logistics Supervisor located in Mechanical Plant Batu Kawan, Penang.\nPlans, schedules, and routes in-bound and out-bound domestic and international shipments of freight, using knowledge of postal regulations, tariffs and company policies.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nMay direct others in expediting export correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections. \nArranges shipping details such as export licenses, customs declarations, and packing, shipping, and routing of product. Monitors export license and compliance.\nInvestigates and recommends transportation and freight costs as well as appropriate routing and carriers to be used.\nProvides cost effective, efficient and traceable movement of company products both in-bound and out-bound.\nExpedites import-export arrangements and maintains current information on import-export tariffs, licenses, and restrictions.\nAudits freight bills and prepare and negotiates claims\nInterprets laws, rules and regulations regarding shipping and prepares applications for import/export control certifications and licenses.\nSchedules company vehicles for service and normal maintenance checks and is in charge for ensuring that all are registered and have the proper insurance.\nEnsures all drivers are qualified and have the proper licenses,\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nRequires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience and training. \nRequires a minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations with advanced experience using MRP systems.\nPossesses a strong understanding of basic logistics knowledge, including inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, and freight cost calculations.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nLife Insurance\nMedical Benefits\nAllowances and Bonuses\nPaid Time-Off\nHH39\nAA98\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
