The role will support operational excellence by driving Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery performance while providing design, engineering, and process support for manufacturing operations.\nWhat a Typical Day Looks Like\nReview engineering drawings and specifications for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability.\nCreate and revise technical drawings based on customer requirements and engineering specifications.\nDevelop individual sheet metal part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software.\nDesign structural components for panel framing, device mounting, and related fabrication applications.\nGenerate bills of materials, piece counts, and material requirements to support production schedules.\nSupport material allocation, inventory management, and manufacturing documentation activities.\nCreate and maintain machine programs for sheet metal fabrication equipment using CAM software.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to review and develop new product designs and customer-specific solutions.\nDevelop, document, and improve manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production and quality compliance.\nTroubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing and process improvement methodologies.\nEnsure manufacturing processes meet company quality standards and applicable ISO requirements.\nProvide technical support and guidance to production personnel on fabrication processes, equipment, and best practices.\nMaintain a safe working environment and support compliance with company safety policies and procedures.\nThe Experience We're Looking to Add to Our Team\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.\nTypically requires 0- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, sheet metal fabrication, or a related field.\nProficiency with AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD platforms.\nExperience with Inventor, SolidWorks, or comparable 3D CAD software.\nExperience with BySoft or similar CAM programming software preferred.\nWorking knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, press brake operations, welding, and assembly.\nStrong understanding of manufacturing process development, quality systems, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nProject management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nAC29\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
