If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a/an Materials Coordinator in USA Fontana, Ca.\nReport to the Materials Manager, Materials Coordinator, is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of materials among departments to ensure production schedules and deadlines are met.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nPre-production planning and support: Review all materials to establish the project material status for Project readiness signoff on proposed production dates\nFollow up with vendors and buyers regarding lead times for materials and obtain tracking information; coordinate delivery dates, as needed.\nFollow up on any items showing short by working with Purchasing and engineering to get a resolution in place\nUpdate the status of the materials and ETAs in the ERP system to provide visibility to downstream processes\nAttend weekly production meetings and provide accurate information regarding material lead times and any issues that could potentially affect production\nActive Project production Support: Tracks material shortages and maintain a complete material shortage report along with resolution status on those items\nInterfaces and coordinates with various departments to resolve material and capacity constraints\nAttend daily production walk-through meetings to identify any material issues that could potentially affect production\nNotify appropriate internal teams (project managers, production managers, etc.) of any issues and material shortages that could potentially affect production\nManage the log for material borrows between projects and get appropriate visibility\nPostproduction Support: Document and verify all ship lose material and items are accounted for prior to shipment of manufacturing projects\nReview all leftover items and establish a disposition plan for those items\nReview all open transactions and evaluate actions towards closing out all project transactions\nRoot cause reasons for material shortages\nResearch discrepancies associated with invoices\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\n4+ years’ experience in planning, production, inventory, or expeditin\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n Excellent organizational and time management skills\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills\nProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and an MRP/ERP System\nWhat the physical requirements are:\nPeriods of standing, walking, and sitting at a desk using a computer\nMust be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.\nMust wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor\nGB02\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
