If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\n\nMechanical Assembler\nLocation: Dallas, TX\nShift: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 12:30 AM\nPosition Summary\nThe Mechanical Assembler is responsible for installing electrical components, wiring, and mechanical systems within substation building enclosures. This role supports manufacturing operations by interpreting engineering documentation, performing assembly and installation activities, operating hand and power tools, and ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and production standards.\nKey Responsibilities\nRead and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, procedures, and work instructions to complete assembly activities.\nAssemble and install electrical and mechanical components, including panelboards, HVAC units, battery systems, electrical devices, and conduit.\nRoute, secure, and support wiring and electrical components in accordance with engineering specifications and production requirements.\nSafely operate hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, grinders, and other assembly equipment.\nConduct quality inspections to verify completed assemblies meet engineering specifications, workmanship standards, and quality requirements.\nIdentify, document, and report defective materials, product nonconformances, and equipment issues.\nMonitor and maintain inventory levels of tools, parts, and production supplies within the workstation.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety procedures.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nMinimum of 1-2 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing, production, construction, or industrial environment.\nExperience installing electrical components, conduit, wiring, panelboards, HVAC equipment, battery systems, or related mechanical assemblies preferred but not required.\nAbility to read, interpret, and apply information from blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, engineering drawings, and written work instructions.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment maintenance, and workplace safety practices.\nBasic math skills with the ability to perform accurate measurements and work to engineering and quality specifications.\nExperience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools, including tape measures, drills, impact drivers, and grinders.\nExperience operating powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, scissor lifts, and overhead cranes, preferred; training and certification may be provided.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality, safety, and productivity standards.\nBilingual (English/Spanish) skills are preferred but not required.\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nAbility to identify and differentiate wiring, components, labels, and assembly indicators using visual inspection methods required for the position.\nAbility to safely work around production equipment and machinery in a manufacturing environment.\nRequired to wear provided, and assigned personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, steel-toe boots, and hearing protection while on the production floor.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience in electrical assembly, mechanical assembly, or industrial manufacturing environments.\nFamiliarity with panelboard installation, conduit routing, electrical devices, HVAC systems, and battery systems.\nExperience supporting quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment while meeting production schedules and quality standards.\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
