This role ensures optimal machine performance, part quality, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.\nShift Schedule: 6pm-6am (Rotating Shit)\nKey Responsibilities:\nMachine Setup & OperationSet up molds, machines, and auxiliary equipment for production runs.\nAdjust machine parameters to maintain part quality and meet specifications.\nStart up and shut down molding machines per standard operating procedures.\n\nTroubleshooting & MaintenanceDiagnose and resolve molding issues such as flash, short shots, or warping.\nPerform routine maintenance and minor repairs on molds and machines.\nCollaborate with maintenance and engineering teams for complex repairs.\n\nQuality AssuranceInspect molded parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.\nMaintain documentation for process control, lot traceability, and corrective actions.\nSupport root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.\n\nProcess OptimizationMonitor mold performance and suggest improvements to reduce cycle time and scrap.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing efforts.\n\nSafety & ComplianceFollow all safety protocols and ensure equipment is operated safely.\nComply with ISO-13485, FDA CFR/GMP, and other regulatory requirements.\n\nQualifications:\nEducation:High School Diploma or GED required.\nAssociate’s Degree in Plastics Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.\n\nExperience:Minimum 1-3 years of experience in injection molding or mold setup.\nExperience with hydraulic and electric injection molding machines.\n\n Certifications (Preferred):RJG Master Molder I or II\nForklift Certification\n\nSkills & Competencies:\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.\nFamiliarity with CNC machines and robotic automation.\nKnowledge of plastic materials, mold design, and processing parameters.\nExcellent communication and teamwork abilities.\nAW20\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
