Leading a team of database professionals who report directly to this role, the MSSQL Manager combines deep SQL Server technical expertise with proven leadership experience to set technical direction and ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our enterprise SQL Server estate.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nDefine, design, implement and hold up enterprise databases systems helping various business application solutions.\nPrepare Standard Operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the databases.\nImplement adequate administrative tools and processes for these enterprise database systems.\nProactive monitoring of enterprise database systems to ensure they are adequately sized to meet the dynamic requirements from the business solutions.\nEstablish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers, and cross functional teams.\nAdherence to Service level acceptance accord with the Business. Ensure timely reviews with stakeholders.\nEnsure compliance of the systems w.r.t security and SOX requirements.\nEnsure these database systems are always up to date in terms of Security patches.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a minimum of 8 + years of related experience.\nDemonstrates solid and technical skills of DATA BASE, SQL, the functional impact upon work processes and other functions.\nStrong Leadership experience.\nAdvanced English level.\nCloud Database Management:\nDesign, deploy, and manage SQL database solutions on Azure and AWS.\nMigrate on-premises SQL Server databases to Azure and AWS using Azure Database Migration Service, AWS DMS, and native SQL Server tools.\nManage SQL Server security.\nImplement SQL Server provisioning using ARM templates, Terraform, or CloudFormation.\nDevelopment & Automation:\nDevelop and maintain T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and jobs for database maintenance and business logic.\nCreate automation scripts for SQL Server administration tasks.\nDevOps.\nPerformance Tuning & Optimization :\nAnalyze and optimize SQL Server query performance using execution plans, DMVs, Extended Events, and Query Store.\nDesign and implement indexing strategies for large-scale MSSQL databases.\nWhat you will receive for the excellent work you deliver:\nCompetitive salary\nLife and medical insurance\nChristmas bonus\nFood vouchers\nSavings fund\nJM54\nJob Category\nITFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
