The Payroll Accountant also collaborates with HR and Finance departments to resolve discrepancies, ensure compliance, and support audits.\nCore Competencies \nCustomer Focus\nCommunication\nTeam Work \nProblem Solving \nEthics and Integrity\nAnalytical\nJob Duties \nResponsible for verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records. \nUpdates and maintains accounting and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers, accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, invoicing). \nEnters data into computer systems using defined computer programs (ERP, Payroll )\nReconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers. \nInvestigates questionable data and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.\nProtects organization's value by keeping information confidential.\nAccounts Receivable\nResponsible for the set up and maintenance of customer accounts in the ERP system.\nMaintain up to date billing system and carry out billing, collection and apply customer remittances.\nMonitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.\nAccounts Payable \nProcesses accounts payable in accordance with corporate internal control procedures including 3 way match.\nPays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities;
