Flex-N-Gate is an automotive supplier headquartered in Urbana, Illinois, that designs and manufactures bumpers, exterior and interior plastic parts, metal stampings and assemblies, lighting systems and mechanical components for vehicle makers. Owned by Shahid Khan, it runs plants across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe, has recently supported launches such as the Lancia Gamma and CUPRA Raval, and its FLEX-ION division develops battery cells, modules and packs. It hires assembly, molding, paint and weld operators, maintenance and controls technicians, quality auditors, manufacturing and automation engineers and plant supervisors, many in Michigan and Ontario.
