Operator Instructions\nCreate and maintain Poke Yoke Systems in Welding Area\nSupport Production & Maintenance to troubleshoot and repair the Welding Equipment\nIdentify & Implement Continuous Improvement Projects for increasing Plant Efficiency and Cost Reductions\nParticipate in 8D Discipline Report to implement Process or Product Corrective and/or Preventive Actions\nCreate and update Welding PFMEA for various products\nParticipate in new welding equipment selection and suggest new welding equipment \nAnalyze and make proposals for improvements to the performance indicators that apply to the welding process\nValidate and maintain records of welding control parameters \nAssist in training and methods for welding operations\nOptimize the performance of welding consumables\nSupport Plant Quality System\nActive participation in the implementation & development of Environmental Quality Systems \nParticipate in commissioning new welding equipment\n\nRequirements\nCommunity College Diploma in Welding Engineering Technology or \nCertified Weld Technician from a recognized body or \n4 years related work experience in a welding manufacturing environment\nPLC Programming experience using Allen Bradley or Omron PLC\nStrong organizational skills\nStrong communication skills (both verbal and written)\nISO 14000 system.\nWelding Standards\nISO TS 16949 system\nLeadership\nMicrosoft Office\nAbility to follow guidelines\nMust be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail\nEnthusiasm for
