If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Operations supervisor, located in Guadalajara, South Campus.\nReporting to the Production Manager, the role involves responsibilities for activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nSupervises production staff on work method and quality checkpoints. \nCoordinates efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices. \nEnsures ISO and safety standards are adhered. \nLeverages industry practices and applies to internal systems and processes. \nProvides supervision and direction to subordinate staff and coordinates workflow within major work unit, including distributing work, disseminating information, assigning staff to cover for absences, providing technical assistance, answering questions, and resolving problems within the work unit supervised. \nSupervises the development and implementation of training programs within the work unit supervised. \nServes as a liaison between the work unit and other offices and outside agencies for the distribution and collection of information and to resolve operational issues. \nDevelops and implements new procedures and responds to changes in statutes and administrative policies. \nTrains staff in the use of automated systems and word processing software, introduces new versions or functions, trouble shoots problems, and attends meetings. \nAssists in the preparation of the budget for the work unit. \nPerforms reviewing work performance, motivating subordinates to work more effectively, identifying problems with performance and solutions to those problems, defining training needs to improve performance, \nParticipates in the hiring and promoting of staff within the work unit supervised, including serving on a panel to interview applicants and making recommendations to superiors. \nPrepares and/or processes personnel actions such as promotions, appointments, transfers, leaves of absences. \nSupervises the maintenance of personnel records and time sheets for staff supervised. \nCoordinates time off requests to ensure adequate coverage. \nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.\nExperience supervising manufacturing processes, industrial operations, and/or continuous improvement initiatives.\nExperience managing and leading personnel.\nExperience in SMT and Structural Assembly areas (Wave Soldering, Press-Fit, 5DX, ICT), as well as tracking WOs, WIP, Scrap, and 5S.\n Technical Knowledge: Time and motion studies, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, data analysis tools (advanced Excel; Minitab preferred), and basic knowledge of ERP and manufacturing systems.\nCompetencies:\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\nTeamwork and effective communication.\nProactive mindset and results-oriented approach.\nAdaptability in dynamic and multicultural environments.\n\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nSaving Fund.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nOC16\nJob Category\nOperationsRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
