If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nReporting to the Process Engineering Director, the PCBA Process Engineer role provides assembly method engineering support in the development, implementation, and documentation of production processes in the manufacturing of electronic assemblies. This position will be located onsite in Austin, TX.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nAdministers SMT programs to verify accurate placement, adhesive dispense, Screen Printer, Paste Inspection, Oven, AOI, X-ray and/or Coating programs for accuracy.\nSupports manufacturing production via diagnosis of placement and process issues and applies corrective actions.\nBalances line and machines for optimal Standard Placement Rate.\nMakes corrections to programs and submits software change forms.\nIncorporates changes to product revision, performs line changes, and facilitates the transfer of programs and associated documentation to and from the site.\nUses CAD data, Gerbers, Fab Drawings, Centroid data, Customer BOM’s, Fabmaster, assembly drawings, and panel drawings to generate programs for placement equipment.\nGenerates visual aids and setup documentation for manufacturing.\nPrograms multiple types of electro-mechanical automated machines (including placement, screen print, optical inspection equipment, and dispensing)\nTakes customer schedule (provided by CFT) and develops programs by schedule.\nProvides input to capacity planning team through scheduling tools.\nMaintains libraries of programs, profiles, and part data by customer and project.\nIn some cases, maintenance duties are performed.\nTheoretical knowledge of any of the following disciplines: agricultural sciences, astronomy, biology, chemistry, engineering, forestry, geology, geophysics, meteorology, or physics; and\nThe ability to solve practical problems in any of those disciplines, or the ability to apply principles of any of those disciplines to basic or applied research.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor’s Degree, vocational or technical training, or equivalent experience. \n1+ years of related experience in Manufacturing.\nUse of the following tools may be required: electronic Assembly: color code, component, schematics, PCB touch-up, commercial soldering, mechanical assembly, PCB point to point wiring\nAutomated equipment work (Preferred)\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
