The ME will design, deploy, launch and sustain manufacturing production lines for industrial equipment, machinery, and power equipment. The ME will work on the production floor as needed to ensure our products are produced safely, at the highest quality, delivered on time, and while maximizing efficiency. \nHere is a glimpse of what you’ll do:\nDesign, deploy, launch and sustain manufacturing production lines for industrial equipment, machinery, and power equipment. \nWill develop, implement and maintain manufacturing methods / detailed visual work instructions. \nWill be responsible for identifying and implementing manufacturing process improvements to improve productivity, workmanship and overall quality of the product.\nWill support implementing manufacturing procedures per customer specifications ECN-Engineering Change Notices. \nWill develop, organize and update manufacturing work areas, material flow, documentation and system setups for new products and features.\nHere is some of what you’ll need (required):\nBS in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering degree required\nMust have 2+ years of experience in engineering specific role\nAbility to define and optimize manufacturing line layouts for productivity and safety.\nExperience in developing Manufacturing Procedures, Shop floor system setups, and evaluation / purchase of Assembly equipment and tools.\nPerform process characterization, validation, and continuous optimization.\nExperience in identifying and implementing manufacturing process improvements to improve productivity, workmanship and overall quality of the product\nIndividual must be a quick learner and be effective at working in a multi-tasking environment.\nAbility to perform job assignments with minimal supervision.\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, design drawings and procedure manuals.\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence\nExperience in Excel and Minitab\nHere are a few of our preferred experiences:\nWorking directly with customers\nSix Sigma Green Belt Certification\nPrior experience working in aerospace manufacturing\nPrevious experience overseeing NPI\nTraining Technicians and Operators on new products, processes and equipment.\nAbility to support on call availability\nAnalyze data and take appropriate action to meet KPI targets\nExperience with SolidWorks preferred\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
