If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add and Equipmet Maintenance Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.\nReporting to the Equipment Maintenance Engineer theEquipment Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, transfer, and optimization of SMT . This role supports pilot and production operations by ensuring equipment reliability, maximizing uptime, and leading equipment-related continuous improvement initiatives. The position also provides technical leadership to maintenance technicians and supports new equipment installations, line transfers, and manufacturing startup activities.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nTroubleshoot and resolve equipment failures involving mechanical, electrical, electronic, and software systems.\n\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on SMT manufacturing equipment.\n\nInstall, commission, validate, relocate, transfer, and debug production equipment and manufacturing lines.\n\nProvide hands-on technical support for SMT and Back end operations.\n\nLead installation activities for SMT lines, Edge Bonding equipment, SCP equipment, and Reflow Ovens.\n\nConduct equipment calibrations, qualifications, and re-certifications per established schedules.\n\nMonitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions to improve uptime and reliability.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, downtime reports, and technical documentation.\n\nPartner with Manufacturing, Process, Quality, and Operations teams to support production goals and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nCoordinate activities with equipment vendors and external service providers.\n\nSupport pilot builds, NPI projects, equipment transfers, and capacity expansion projects.\n\nLead and mentor a team of Maintenance Technicians.\n\nEnsure compliance with company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.\n\nTrain technicians, operators, and maintenance personnel on process standards and equipment best practices.\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBA/BS or equivalent work experience..\n\nExperience as Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Equipment Engineer, or Maintenance Engineer in electronics manufacturing.\n\nStrong knowledge of SMT manufacturing processes.\n\nExperience supporting Back End manufacturing processes.\n\nExperience with equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance\n\nKnowledge of equipment qualification, calibration, and troubleshooting methodologies.\n\nStrong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.\n\nPeople management skills.\n\nPick and Place Experience\n\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary\n\nLife & Medical insurance\n\nChristmas Bonus\n\nFood Coupons\n\nSaving Fund.\n\nLife Insurance.\n\nGR66\nJob Category\nProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
