If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Process Engineering Intern located in Coopersvile, MI.\nReporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Process Engineering Intern will be responsible to solve complex problems and generate new ideas for a global organization; while utilizing creativity and innovation to develop entrepreneurial skills. Involved on projects which matter to the business and help achieve company goals. Work on challenging projects in support of real-time business issues, to develop skills and experiences.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nAssist with manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules.\nPrepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.\nProvides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.\nInterface with hardware, power and other peers to understand system architecture and design constraints.\nCreate mechanical design concepts for various products and clients using mechanical tools.\nAssist with the design mechanisms improve installation and serviceability.\nAssist with testing and execution experiments for mechanical system optimization.\nWork with the team to build and test prototypes.\nDiagnose and make recommendation on prototypes, assembly or design failures.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nStrong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills\nStrong verbal, presentation and written communication skills\nAbility to work in teams and collaborate with others\nSelf-motivated, high energy and strong time management skills\nDemonstrated leadership skills and team orientation\nAbility to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to take lead and drive for results\nInternship Program Requirements:\nCurrently enrolled and pursuing degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited university\nAvailable for 10-12 weeks\nMinimum 3.0 cumulative GPA\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
