In this role, you will troubleshoot process and quality issues, create and modify machine programs, perform equipment setup and changeovers, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to improve yields, reduce downtime, and maintain process stability.\nThe Technician will support manufacturing processes including press-fit and router operations, while working closely with Process Engineers, Operators, and Production teams to maintain process stability, improve yields, and minimize downtime. This position requires the ability to work independently on 3rdShift following initial training and onboarding.\n3rd Shift | 11PM - 7:15PM | Sun - Thurs\nHourly Rate + 12.5% differential\nResearch Blvd., Austin, TX\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up, configure, and support manufacturing equipment used in press-fit, and router operations.\nCreate, edit, and troubleshoot machine programs to support production requirements and process improvements.\nDiagnose and resolve process-related quality issues, yield concerns, and production defects.\nMonitor manufacturing processes and provide technical guidance to production operators.\nPerform line changeovers and equipment configuration changes.\nCollect and document production data including scrap, downtime, defects, and process performance metrics.\nSupport process validation activities, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nPerform basic corrective maintenance and escalate equipment-related issues when necessary.\nFollow established escalation procedures to support manufacturing uptime and quality objectives.\nWork closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Maintenance, and Quality teams to drive process improvements.\nMinimum Qualifications\n1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing technician, process technician, engineering technician, equipment technician, or similar technical role.\nExperience troubleshooting manufacturing processes and production equipment.\nStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.\nExperience supporting production in a manufacturing environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience within electronics manufacturing, PCB, PCBA, SMT, or through-hole assembly environments.\nExperience supporting press-fit, router, or similar automated manufacturing equipment.\nExperience creating, editing, or maintaining machine programs.\nExperience analyzing process defects, yield issues, scrap, and downtime data.\nAssociate's degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field preferred but not required.\nStrong operators with demonstrated technical aptitude and troubleshooting experience are encouraged to apply.\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
