products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, South Campus.\nReporting to the Operations Manager, the Product Engineer role will be responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrit\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nHandle product transfer and new product set up. \nSupport production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line. \nSuggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield. \nSolve product related problems and perform failure evaluation related to product issues. \nInteract with customer and various departments on product related issues \nWork with design team to resolve design related issues. \nSuggest modification to work instructions, material, or product changes to ensure excellent quality of products. \nCustomer´s Bill of Material (BOM) evaluation and structure definition for production \nFunctional Product Documentation review \nSafety Requirements and regulations compliance identification \nEngineering Drawings Interpretation of parts and assemblies. \nRequest customer for drawing corrections, additions, clarification, measurements methods \nManage Engineering Changes Implementation \nConduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM), tolerance evaluation, Design of Experiment (DOE), form-fit-function to define failure root/cause evaluation and reporting to customer \nProvide support to supply chain to integrate parts derived from the vertical integration or localization effort \nProvide product training to the manufacturing/process engineers for better understanding of the product. \nRequest, handle and administrate golden samples, engineering samples of final product and/or piece parts \nEstablish, operate, and maintain a standard method for technical information interchange with the customer to control and preserve information of NPI transferred projects \nInspection of customer product parts and assemblies through model files using Computer-aided Design (CAD) system \nEvaluate and identify course of action of Product Change Notification (PCN) and Manufacturing Change Order (MCO) \nAbility to take additional responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer depending on the size and complexity of the customer product \nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nLead NPI activities and product transfers into manufacturing.\nManage product documentation, BOM structures, engineering changes, and PCNs.\nSupport product qualification, validation, and customer requirements.\nReview product designs and provide DFM, DFA, and DFT recommendations.\nCoordinate APQP and PPAP deliverables for automotive programs.\nInvestigate product and process issues using structured problem-solving methodologies.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, cost, delivery, and manufacturing efficiency.\nEnsure compliance with automotive, customer, and internal quality requirements.\nSupport manufacturing, test engineering, quality, and supply chain teams during product lifecycle activities.\nMaintain product traceability and configuration management throughout the manufacturing process.\nMust Have\nBachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field.\nFluent English.\nExperience with PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) manufacturing processes.\nBOM (Bill of Materials) Management.\nPCN (Product Change Notification) Management.\nKnowledge of product traceability requirements and configuration control.\nUnderstanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), and DFT (Design for Test).\nExperience with Agile PLM.\nKnowledge of ERP/MRP systems.\nStrong electronics manufacturing knowledge.\nExperience supporting automotive customers and customer-specific requirements.\nKnowledge of IATF 16949 standards and automotive quality systems.\nExperience using CAD review applications and engineering viewers.\nStrong problem-solving skills using Root Cause Analysis, 8D, and 5 Why methodologies.\nExperience leading NPI (New Product Introduction) projects and product transfers.\nKnowledge of APQP and PPAP processes.\nAbility to work cross-functionally
