If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Manager located in Jiading, Shanghai.\nGuides and coordinates activities of employees engaged in the following areas of a manufacturing department; multi-level assembly, electronic card/system testing and quality assurance to attain production goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.\nWhat a typical day looks like :\nThe role will manage manufacturing and warehouse.\nWork closely with the engineering, quality, planning, IT and other stakeholders to support the growing business.\nBudget Control, organization development planning.\nPursuing the high-quality and low-cost, improve the utilization of machines.\nSupport new product introduction, design changes, process improvements, and test procedures.\nMonitor/track WIP level and optimize.\nFollow-up on work order aging.\nMaintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.\nConduct floor cycle count, physical inventory.\nEnsure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.\nGuides department activities to hold up design of new products, modify existing designs, improve production techniques, and help on test procedures.\nExplores technology trends and market demand to plan projects.\nContributes with management, production, and marketing staff to resolve manufacturing feasibility, cost effectiveness, and customer demand for new and existing products.\nForecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.\nPartners with team and management in the development of the strategic plan and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the function.\nReviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.\nPrioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply in order to meet customer requirements.\nCoordinates production activities with other functional groups such as planning and distribution.\nSelects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function.\nAccountable for controlling manufacturing operation and ensuring that production quality and cost targets are met.\nWorking in extremely complex problems where the research of situations or data from an evaluation of intangible factors.\nReviews budgets and schedules required by management.\nRegulate relations with the executives and/or major customers to maintain relationships with them.\nResolve controversial situations, customer negotiations, or influencing and persuading management levels for the achievements of the plant.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team :\nTypically requires Bachelor’s degree in areas of Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, etc\n8+ years of production management relevant experience.\nStrong expertise in manufacturing or related technical areas (SMT, test, manual assembly).\nAdvanced leadership, process management, and stakeholder management skills.\nKnowledge of multiple manufacturing processes and cross-functional dependencies.\nLean manufacturing.\nFamiliar with SAP.\nSix-sigma yellow belt or above is preferred.\nRBA knowledge is preferred\nBe able to play a manager role in a team, showing promising characters of leadership, creativeness.\nIndependent self-motivated and well organized with analytical mind.\nGood communication skills and production management skills.\nFluent English in Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nSocial Insurance\nCommercial insurance\nPTO\nTransportation allowance\nAnnual medical check-up\nJob Category\nOperationsRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
