If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Support Engineer (Electrical engineering) located in Kendal, UK.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nProvide day-to-day electrical engineering support to production / operations.\nSupport the resolution of production issues, technical queries, and manufacturing RFIs relating to electrical design, schematics, wiring, GAs and Bills of Materials (BOM). \nReview and update electrical BOM’s (QMF70), ensuring changes are controlled, accurate and clearly communicated to Production, Supply Chain and relevant stakeholders. \nSupport the sourcing and review of alternative electrical components where required.\nUpdate and support controlled electrical drawings and documentation, including schematics, SLD’s, wiring diagrams, device schedules, terminal schedules, labels, GAs and associated manufacturing information. \nManage Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) from production issue identification through to implementation, ensuring actions, approvals, drawing updates, BOM changes and production cut-in requirements are clearly controlled and communicated. \nDefining, creating and implementing Production Support standard operating procedures (SOPS’s).\nSupport design corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs) where electrical design input is required. \nSupport Product Change Notices (PCNs), ensuring updates are controlled through the appropriate process. \nWork closely with Electrical Design, Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Project Management, Mechanical Design and BIM teams to support project delivery. \nSupport production reviews, internal root-cause investigations where electrical engineering input is required. \nProvide support during FAT, internal testing and customer witness activities where required. \nContribute to Engineering Excellence by identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, safety. \nPromote proactive risk identification, mitigation and resolution throughout the production and project lifecycle. \nEnsure all work is performed in line with the Anord Mardix Quality Management System, applicable project requirements and company Health and Safety requirements. \nThe experience we’re looking to add to the team:\nExperience within an electrical design, production support, manufacturing engineering or product support role. \nExperience with LV Switchgear, modular power systems or similar engineered to order products is advantageous. \nAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, general arrangements, specifications, BOMs and production documentation. \nPractical understanding of electrical components, component substitution, manufacturing and change control. \nExperience updating BOMs and engineering data within business systems, ERP/MRP processes, is advantageous. \nWorking knowledge of 2D CAD tools, preferably Autodesk AutoCAD or similar. \nKnowledge of PLM/PDM systems such as Autodesk Vault is advantageous. \nPractical, proactive and flexible approach to problem solving.\nExcellent interpersonal, communication; verbal, written and presentational skills are essential. \nAbility to work independently while supporting wider team goals and business priorities. \nA full UK driving licence is required, where occasional travel between sites is required. \nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nAn environment where you will feel fulfilled by your work, valued for your contribution, and celebrated for your success;\nA competitive salary and benefits package which includes:A merit-based annual pay review\nEnhanced annual leave\nEmployee recognition scheme and long service awards\nReferral bonus\nVolunteer days\nGroup Life Insurance, including a death in service payment and access to a virtual GP service 24/7 365 days a year\nSick pay scheme\nCycle to Work scheme\nEnhanced maternity/paternity leave\n\nFlexible/Hybrid Work based on your Job Function\nTravel opportunities (role dependent)\nSupport in your well-being by access toEmployee Assistance Programme offering free access to qualified counsellors and expert advice\nOn-site trained Mental Health First Aiders\n\nAccess to various discount programs (including food, activities, gym memberships etc.)\nAD06\nJob Category\nProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
