If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aPurchasing Manager Direct located in Guadalajara, South Campus.\nReporting to the Director, Materials, the Purchasing Manager Direct role involves responsible of overseeing activities related to the procurement of Direct materials, parts, components and equipment. Direct and coordinates activities of personnel engaged in procurement consistent with delivery requirements and quality specifications.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nPrepare instructions regarding purchasing systems and procedures.\n\nEstablishes goals for purchasing department.\n\nFollow-up policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.\n\nManage and guide a team of buyers and expeditors to meet procurement and supplier management goals\n\nInterface with procurement groups in updating and maintaining company procurement strategies\n\nImplement processes with suppliers to improve on time delivery and Purchase Price Variance\n\nHelping implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory models\n\nSupervise the team in the management of the supply chain to achieve continuous timely supply of parts and services\n\nApproves purchase orders and change notices through subordinates.\n\nReviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.\n\nEnsures continuity of raw material supply to help production schedules and balances with achieving inventory level targets.\n\nInvestigates inventory levels. Helps process to manage excess and obsolete material.\n\nConduct supplier performance reviews and help the team to maintain supplier consistent on time delivery and implement processes with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and quality of product / service\n\nKeep senior management informed of present/future trends in availability and cost of materials, components and equipment\n\nMonitors on-time supplier deliveries, inventory turns, MRP execution, Purchase Price Variance, processing time reduction, supplier performance and cost investigation.\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBA/BS or equivalent work experience.\n\nMinimum of 6 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management within a manufacturing environment.\n\nIntermediate to Advanced English proficiency.\n\nProven experience leading and developing purchasing teams.\n\nStrong knowledge of supplier management, purchasing processes, and materials planning.\n\nExperience managing procurement KPIs and driving performance improvements through data analysis and metric development.\n\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to improve On-Time Delivery performance.\n\nExperience resolving procurement-related issues, including overdue invoices, receiving discrepancies, and supplier performance challenges.\n\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills.\n\nExperience working with ERP systems.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\n\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\n\nLife & Medical insurance.\n\nChristmas Bonus.\n\nFood Coupons.\n\nSaving Fund.\n\nMG61\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
