If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Quality Technician located in Orangeburg, SC.\nReporting to the Quality Engineer the Quality Technician is in charge of performing product inspection and/or audits of quality control programs, first article inspections and calibration, inspecting flat blank layouts, out of box audit (OBA) and sampling and testing of incoming components and raw materials. Purge material. Ensures raw materials, in process and finished products meet company standards. General documentations updated (Quality alerts).\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nAudits processes, tests and inspects products and/or develops, compiles and evaluates statistical data to define and maintain quality and reliability of products.\nWorking from engineering drawings, specifications, schematics, diagrams, written descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform complex engineering testing, checkout, First Article Inspection, root cause research, internal corrective actions and supplier correction actions.\nInterprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to define quality and reliability standards.\nSelects processes to be audited from primarily the manufacturing areas and checks for a variety of features, including ESD (electro-static discharge) and handling practices, documentation, training and process integrity.\nSelects products for audits at specified stages in the production or post-production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance and mechanical, electrical or cosmetic characteristics.\nRecords audit data, applying statistical quality control procedures.\nEvaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.\nRecommends modifications of existing quality or production standards, programs or reports to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability.\nPerform calibration on inspection tools e.g. micrometers, calipers height gages etc.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent, technical training, or equivalent experience.\nTypically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience.\nKD07\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
