If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Recycling & Materials Recovery Manager located in Guadalajara, North Campus.\nReporting to the Sr. Manager, Supply Chain, the Recycling & Materials Recovery Manager role involves leading the overall strategy and execution of our by-products & R=recycling operations within a high-volume advanced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for managing the recovery, disposition, and commercialization of manufacturing by-products, while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, optimizing financial performance, and leading both operational and administrative teams.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nLead daily By-Products & Recycling operations across the manufacturing campus.\nCoordinate and oversee external recycling and waste management suppliers for cardboard, plastics, metals, electronic scrap, solder waste, general waste, and other manufacturing by-products.\nEnsure efficient collection, segregation, storage, transportation, and disposition of materials.\nPartner with procurement to develop sourcing strategies, RFQs, supplier negotiations, and contract execution.\nEvaluate market conditions and validate pricing structures for recyclable materials and by-product recovery opportunities.\nMaintain strong relationships with recycling and waste management vendors to ensure service quality and cost competitiveness.\nPrepare and manage operational budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.\nTrack revenue generated from material recovery programs and monitor associated operating expenses.\nReconcile supplier invoices, weight tickets, material transactions, and recovery revenues.\nDevelop and present P&L analysis and financial performance reports to Finance and Operations leadership.\nLead environmental inspections, regulatory visits, and corporate sustainability audits.\nEnsure compliance with local environmental regulations, internal policies, and corporate requirements.\nSupport sustainability goals through waste reduction, recycling optimization, and resource recovery initiatives.\nLead and develop both administrative and operational personnel.\nEstablish performance metrics and drive accountability across the function.\nDevelop procedures, work instructions, and operational controls.\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, process efficiency, compliance, and revenue enhancement.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Sciences, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.\nFull experience in recycling operations, waste management, environmental services, materials recovery, manufacturing operations, or related industries.\nExperience managing external vendors and service contracts.\nExperience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.\nLeadership experience managing teams in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAdvanced communication and stakeholder management capabilities.\nP&L Management\nExperience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), Automotive, Aerospace, or High-Tech Manufacturing.\nKnowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.\nExperience with sustainability, circular economy, or ESG initiatives.\nBackground in materials recovery, scrap management, or commodity recycling markets.\nLean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nCP68\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
