If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aSenior Engineer- Equipment located in Sriperumbudur\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nShould have worked in SMT / Backend machine maintenance\nDirects daily department activities to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.\nCoordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function.\nStrong SMT equipment and process Knowledge such as DEK, Pick and Place, Reflow, AOI, and Wave\nMust work and drive for their department KPI and continuously strive to balance and optimize line throughput\nInitiate efforts to minimize changeover downtime as making common set-ups\nMonitor machine management data in order to maximize utilization and minimize machine-generated scrap.\nAdhere to all safety and health regulations as directed by the Manager and follow the procedures within the company’s security policies.\nShould have Knowledge on OEE, MMTR, MTBF\nMonitor the Maintenance co-ordination and downtime trend with CFT\nMust have Lean manufacturing and Six sigma green belt.\nMust be good in 7QC tools / TPM\nResponsible to drive for Continuous improvement activities\nMust have MS Office experience to prepare daily reports to present.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training.\nTypically requires 6+ years of experience\nKey KPIs for SMT Senior Engineer\nEquipment Uptime > 98%\nOEE Improvement /First Pass Yield (FPY)\nMTBF Improvement &MTTR Reduction\nPM Compliance 100%\nDefect PPM Reduction\nUPH Improvement\nCost Saving Achievement &Customer Audit Closure Rate\nManagement-Level Responsibility\nDevelop SMT equipment roadmap.\nLead equipment transfer and installation projects.\nDrive yearly productivity and automation initiatives.\nPresent weekly and monthly performance reviews to management.\nCoordinate with customers, global engineering teams, and equipment suppliers for strategic improvements.\nDemonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or guides other employees. Demonstrates broad knowledge of functional techniques and has input to process improvement. Has awareness of and may apply new technologies. Proven ability of successfully communicate with internal and external parties.
