If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Facilities Manager located in Batu Kawan, Penang.\nManages, coordinates, and oversees various functions for the facilities organization including maintenance and alteration of office, manufacturing, warehouse, truck yards, parking, and landscaped areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement, and housekeeping of the aforementioned facilities.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nControls inter- building communication installations and maintenance. \nSupervises maintenance and alteration of all areas and equipment within the building(s), as well as layouts, arrangements, and housekeeping of all facilities. \nMay oversee cafeteria and/or food service operations. Analyses and standardizes various facilities procedures to improve efficiencies.\nDefines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow. \nAssigns duties for subordinates and examines work for conformance to policies and procedures. \nA portion of time is normally spent performing tasks related to the facilities unit. \nCoordinates purchase orders within budget guidelines and files monthly reports to accounting, corporate, and/or facilities management\nMay coordinate, manage, and direct the design, planning, construction, maintenance and alteration of building structures, equipment, machinery, and other facilities infrastructures. Other duties as assigned. \nIn addition to performing or overseeing duties listed above, the manager may perform some or all of the following additional responsibilities:\nInspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities. \nEvaluates firm's HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting and other factors. \nPlans, budgets and schedules various regional facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts and contracts for construction and acquisitions. \nPerforms audits to support facility planning. \nDevelops long range plans, conceptual designs and capital outlay requirements and documentation for various facilities. \nFormulates and coordinates program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts and associated documents. \nActs as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies. \nInspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications. \nReviews real estate contracts for compliance with government specifications and suitability for occupancy. \nOversees the coordination of building space allocation, layout and communication services. \nOversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in facility equipment installation, facilities equipment repair and preventive maintenance. \nOversees development and updating of the Disaster Recovery Plan and ensures site readiness. \nOversees facilities safety and training programs, first aid and First Responder program, Hazmat, Lock-out/Tag-out, chemical handling safety, MSDS data sheets, compliance to OSHA regulations. \nOversees contracted cleaning services. \nCompletes corporate, governmental and site reporting.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, related degree or equivalent experience and training. \nTypically requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities engineering or related field, including supervision.\nPrefer some knowledge of manufacturing operations.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nMedical benefits, dental, vision\nLife Insurance\nPaid Time Off\nPerformance Bonus\nNB87\nJob Category\nOperationsRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
