If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nThe Shipping & Receiving Handler is responsible for movement of materials to prepare for operation, inventory transactions, improving inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving of product, and filling in at different positions when needed.\nLocation: Buffalo Grove, IL\nShift Schedule: 8am-430pm M-F\nPrinciple Accountabilities:\nPhysical preparation of all shipments.\nReceive material and store it correctly using FIFO procedures.\nKeep accurate filling of receipt and shipping documentation with correct lot trace ability tags.\nKeep and maintain tracking of shipping containers.\nOperate a forklift truck.\nFollow all EHS policies and procedures.\nPerform accurate month end inventories and understand part flow in plant and where to stock it.\nResponsible for loading all production material for the assigned Production lines.\nQualifications:\nDemonstrates functional skills.\nRequires basic competency related to function.\nDemonstrates basic functional process knowledge and participates in process.\nHas awareness of Flex techniques.\nMay require ability to operate telephones, data entry equipment, forklifts, electronic scales, pallet jacks, and staple guns and to perform cycle counting and kitting.\nAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.\nAbility to write simple correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situation to other employees.\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
