If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nJob summary:\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Simulation Engineer located in Aguascalientes.\nThe Simulation Engineer, working with customers, sites, segments, and groups, will be responsible for the design and development of simulation packages to meet customer requirements. From the design of concepts, through development into fully functional and tested simulations. Will also be responsible to work on innovative solutions that improves the usability of the software as well as integrate the software into Flex operations worldwide.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nYou will receive a request from the production engineering team to create a 3D simulation model of a specific area\nYou will use the model for realistic visual representation and performance analysis of the specific production or logistics system\nYou will work with the internal team to provide information on the performance of the modelled area and identify possible improvements\nInterface with the production engineering team to support process design investigations\nParticipate as a subject matter expert in design reviews in collaboration with other internal functions\nSupport the research process of the latest simulation related technologies by gathering information and summarizing literature in the field\nTrain and mentor site engineers in the use of simulation tools\nDevelop innovative methods to improve simulation quality\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nGood knowledge of DES tools (we use Flex Sim and Visual Components, but any other DES simulation software knowledge is accepted)\nExperience with 3D visualization and modelling tools (SketchUp, Solid Edge, Nvidia Omniverse, Blender, Unreal Engine knowledge is an advantage)\nIdeally, a completed bachelor's or master’s degree in industrial engineering or Transportation Engineering - or equivalent\nIndustrial engineering knowledge as well as design engineering experience is preferred\nStrong communication skills to explain technical issues in a clear and systematic way\nAbility to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures.\nAbility to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.\nAbility to effectively communicate with managers and employees of the organizations \nReadiness to travel (approx. 4-6 working days/month, mostly limited to American locations)\nWillingness to learn \nFluency in English\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nXS65\nJob Category\nProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
