If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a SMT Process Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.\nReporting to the Process Engineering Manager theSMT Process Engineer is responsible for developing, optimizing, and sustaining SMT manufacturing processes to achieve world-class quality, productivity, and delivery performance. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Test, and Engineering teams to drive process improvements, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and support new product introductions in a high-volume electronics manufacturing environment.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nSupervise technical activities in SMT processes and coordinate the team.\nDevelop, optimize, and sustain SMT manufacturing processes.\nCreate and maintain equipment programs for DEK, SPI, AOI, Pick & Place, and related SMT equipment.\nDevelop and validate reflow profiles and solder paste processes.\nAnalyze process capability (CPK) and implement corrective actions to improve process stability.\nPerform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of PCB assembly issues.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and scrap reduction.\nCoordinate process validations, tooling development, and fixture implementation.\nSupport engineering changes, process transfers, and new product introductions (NPI).\nConduct capacity analysis, line balancing, and bottleneck identification.\nDevelop manufacturing documentation, work instructions, visual aids, and process procedures.\nEnsure compliance with customer specifications, IPC standards, and manufacturing requirements.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production and quality issues.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBA/BS mechatronic engineer, industrial engineer or similar.\nSr experience in SMT Process Engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry.\nHands-on experience with SMT processes including: Screen Printing, SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI, PTH Processes.\nExperience with stencil design and solder paste process optimization.\nStrong knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.\nExperience performing process capability studies (CPK).\nFamiliarity with Gerber files, CAD tools, and manufacturing documentation.\nStrong background in Root Cause Analysis, 8D, Fishbone, 5 Why, and DOE methodologies.\nExperience supporting NPI and process validation activities.\nIntermediate English communication skills.\nAvailability shift.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nLife Insurance.\nKJ12\nJob Category\nProduction EngineeringRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
