The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aSr Buyer Direct located in Guadalajara, North Campus.\nReporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct theSr Buyer Direct is responsible for planning, procuring, and managing direct materials required to support manufacturing operations. Ensures material availability while optimizing inventory levels, supplier performance, delivery schedules, and total cost. Serves as the primary point of contact for suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders while supporting global operations with flexibility to accommodate multiple time zones and urgent material requirements. The role also provides leadership and guidance to junior procurement personnel, including buyers, trainees, or interns, while driving continuous improvement in supply chain performance.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nProcure direct materials, components, and assemblies required to support production schedules and customer demand.\nManage supplier relationships to ensure on-time delivery, quality performance, and cost competitiveness.\nReview MRP outputs and place, expedite, reschedule, or cancel purchase orders as required.\nMonitor material availability and mitigate shortages that could impact production.\nCoordinate inbound shipments and logistics activities with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and transportation providers.\nManage ocean freight suppliers and international shipment activities to ensure uninterrupted material flow.\nLead supplier communications regarding pricing, delivery schedules, forecasts, and capacity constraints.\nResolve supplier claims, invoice discrepancies, debit/credit issues, and accounts payable related matters.\nSupport inventory control activities, monitor stock levels, and minimize excess and obsolete materials.\nTrack critical materials throughout the production cycle and escalate risks when necessary.\nPrepare procurement reports, KPIs, and executive presentations utilizing advanced Excel and ERP systems.\nParticipate in regular business reviews, supplier meetings, operational reviews, and cross-functional planning sessions.\nCollaborate closely with Production, Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, Quality, and Finance teams.\nConduct supplier performance reviews and drive corrective actions when needed.\nEnsure procurement records and purchasing data are maintained accurately and confidentially.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing, logistics, and supply chain operations.\nProvide leadership and mentoring to procurement support staff, including buyers, coordinators, or interns.\nSupport co-production and global sourcing activities across multiple manufacturing sites.\nRespond to critical supply chain situations outside normal business hours when required.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBA/BS or equivalent work experience.\nExperience in a similar position.\nIntermediate- advanced English (spoken and written).\nExperience within Electronics Manufacturing, Enclosures, Automotive, EMS, or related industries.\nExperience with ocean freight suppliers and global logistics operations.\nERP systems experience (SAP, Oracle, BAAN, JDE, Plex, or similar).\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting.\nStrong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.\nAvailability to support meetings with global teams.\nLeadership skills.\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nCompetitive Salary.\nLife & Medical insurance.\nChristmas Bonus.\nFood Coupons.\nSaving Fund.\nLife Insurance.\nKJ12\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
