Reporting to the General Manager of our GSS business, the Sr. Director, Operations Engineering, will oversee managing day-to-day operations and core functions of operations to achieve and maintain operational excellence.\nHere is a glimpse of what you’ll do:\nGuarantee production, delivery in full, on time and in specifications required by customers, at the most cutthroat cost.\nDefine operational financial goals.\nOperational business experience including a successful performance track record managing staff and P&L.\nEstablish and communicate Business Unit goals and assignments.\nDefine and execute operational programs in line with strategic plans and annual operating goals.\nMeet with Executive Business at least monthly to review and evaluate KOI's.\nAttend quarterly business reviews with key customers.\nPartner with other businesses to establish strategic plans and goals.\nDirect and control the activities on purchasing business, production control, planning, manufacturing engineering, test engineering, maintenance, manufacturing and logistics.\nImplement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.\nHere is some of what you’ll need (required):\n10 -15 years of industry experience, with at least 3 -5 years in a leadership role\nBachelor’s degree in a related field\nHands-on experience with NPI (New Product Introduction), guiding new customer programs from concept through successful execution and delivery.\nExpertise in managing high- and low-volume production and high- and low-mix product environments.\nExtensive experience in assembly processes, and automation systems.\nStrong background in P&L management, with demonstrated financial acumen.\nAbility to effectively influence senior leadership, executives, and key clients.\nClient-focused with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively to meet technical and operational needs.\nExtensive experience in expansion and ramping up.\nAA01\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
