This role will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing headcount forecasts, budget and operational plan variances, and identifying the key drivers behind workforce increases and reductions.\nThe position will provide strategic insights and recommendations to support business decision-making and ensure alignment between workforce demand and operational requirements.\nA key responsibility of this role will be partnering with Manufacturing leaders, HR Business Partners, and Workforce Planning SPOCs to support workforce planning requirements associated with new project ramp-ups, product launches, operational expansions, production transfers, and capacity growth initiatives across global manufacturing sites. The role will ensure workforce readiness and staffing strategies are aligned with evolving business needs.\nAdditionally, this position will serve as the primary point of contact for Workforce Planning & Data Analytics strategic initiatives, driving process implementation, adoption, standardization, and continuous improvement across the organization.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the global Headcount Planning process for manufacturing operations.\nMonitor and manage global headcount forecasts.\nIdentify, document, and communicate variances against forecast, budget, and operational plans.\nAnalyze the root causes of workforce increases and reductions, providing recommendations and action plans.\nDevelop executive reports, dashboards, and metrics related to Forecast and Headcount Planning.\nLead workforce planning activities to support new project ramp-ups, product launches, production transfers, site expansions, and capacity growth initiatives, ensuring the right headcount is available to meet business demand.\nPartner with Workforce Planning SPOCs and HR Business Partners across regions and manufacturing sites to ensure effective workforce planning and execution.\nCollaborate closely with key stakeholders to ensure alignment between operational plans, budgets, and workforce requirements.\nServe as the primary point of contact for Workforce Planning & Data Analytics strategic initiatives.\nCoordinate the implementation, adoption, and maturation of new processes, methodologies, and tools with regional SPOCs.\nDrive the standardization of Workforce Planning methodologies, metrics, governance practices, and reporting processes across the organization.\nParticipate in organizational transformation and continuous improvement initiatives related to workforce planning and operational effectiveness.\nKey Competencies\nStrong analytical and data-driven mindset.\nStakeholder management and influencing skills.\nStrategic workforce planning capabilities.\nCross-functional leadership.\nProject and program management.\nExecutive communication and presentation skills.\nProblem-solving and critical thinking.\nResults-oriented approach.\nRole Impact\nThis role is critical to ensuring workforce and capacity decisions are aligned with business priorities by providing global visibility into headcount demand, growth drivers, operational requirements, and workforce optimization opportunities across manufacturing operations.
