Together, we’re not just advancing technology - we’re redefining cooling standards to create a more sustainable tomorrow.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer located inLittleton, MA.\nReporting to theSr Director, Operations the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer will Plans, directs, and coordinates manufacturing processes by providing technical support maintenance of manufacturing methods by performing the following duties in the manufacturing phase of the product lifecycle.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nUnderstand manufacturing and test equipment concepts, technologies and techniques\nDesigns manufacturing processes within schedule and budgetary parameters.\nDevelops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.\nDefine equipment maintenance requirements, identify root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills.\nWork with other engineering stakeholders and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and products and may develop corrective and preventive action plans\nMay be involved in development and and update of PFMEA for new products\nMay participate in control plan development\nWrite and update work instructions and other documents (e.g. specifications, procedures)\nExamines and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.\nConfers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.\nCoordinates with customers to identify product specifications and design changes and responds to customer request.\nProvides information for management recommendations from a technical and technical cost perspective.\nConfers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.\nApplies statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires 10 years of related experience\nDemonstrates detailed expertise in very complex functional/technical area or broad breadth of knowledge in multiple areas; understands the strategic impact of the function across sites.\nImpacts the medium-term (semi-annual/ annual) direction and financial or operational success of the function. \nApproves and/or creates functional processes or technologies.\nExecutes and provides input to functional strategic plans and objectives for site. Assists in developing plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives.\nInstills appropriate behavior in others in support of Flex values.
