If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add aStaff Industrial Engineer in Milpitas, California.\n This role is responsible for leading advanced industrial engineering initiatives focused on optimizing manufacturing processes, improving operational efficiency, supporting new product introductions, and driving continuous improvement across production operations.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\n\nLead industrial engineering projects to improve productivity, capacity utilization, and manufacturing performance.\nDevelop and implement labor standards, line balancing, capacity models, and workflow optimization strategies.\nAnalyze manufacturing processes, facility layouts, and production data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.\nPartner with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Program Management teams to support NPI and production ramp activities.\nDrive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and waste elimination.\nDesign and optimize production layouts, material flow processes, and workstation configurations to maximize throughput.\nUtilize industrial engineering tools and methodologies to evaluate labor requirements, cycle times, and production capacity.\nDevelop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and analytical reports to support operational decision-making.\nLead root cause analysis activities and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.\nMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on complex manufacturing and process improvement projects.\nSimulation of process and creation of productions ramp up plans.\nTaking part in new customer and products quoting.\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\n\nBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related field.\nTypically requires 6+ years of industrial engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or high-tech industries.\nStrong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, time studies, labor modeling, capacity planning, and process optimization.\nExperience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and high-volume manufacturing operations.\nProficiency with data analysis tools, manufacturing systems, and engineering methodologies.\nExcellent analytical, project management, communication, and leadership skills.\nAC29\nWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical, dental, and vision plans\nLife Insurance\nShort-term and Long-term Disability\nMatching 401(k) Contributions\nVacation and Paid Sick Time\nTuition Reimbursement\n\nApplication Deadline:\nApplications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
