Will initiate improvement programs for suppliers and evaluates quality performance of potential new suppliers as part of the supplier selection process.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nLeads APQP/PPAP process with suppliers for products and materials from product development to SOP stage (start of production).\nDesigns and maintains procedures and documentation according IATF 16949 requirements and reports about quality performance of suppliers.\nLeads quality management system- and process audits at suppliers, using VDA 6.3 procedure, at supplier site to assess capabilities for delivering according IATF 16949 QMS- and MCi requirements. Advises if supplier development actions are required. Performs also other compliance audits regarding automotive standards where required.\nParticipates in product development teams and safeguards APQP process related to external suppliers and purchased material.\nProvides support to suppliers to improve their quality performance and provides training in MCi’s quality objectives.\nLeads 8D-problemsolving process for major, complex nonconformities and informs MCi plants. Makes sure non conformality costs caused by supplier are addressed.\nProvides support to Supplier Quality Engineers in MCi factories. Leads improvement programs for underperforming suppliers.\nProvides input to Engineering team in design reviews, and DFM input. Delivers supplier performance input to Sourcing committee. Provides input to management about risk assessments in case of potential unpredicted situations.\nMaintain and update automotive compliance requirements with suppliers\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nHigher (HBO) education with Quality Engineer (EOQ) or Certified Quality Engineer (ASQ).\nKnowledges and experience with IATF16949.\nFluent in Dutch or English.\nKnowledge and experience with auditing; VDA 6.3 auditor certification, minimum 3 years auditing experience in Automotive.\nThorough knowledge of problem-solving techniques (8D, DOE).\nGood knowledge of statistical and quality control techniques.\nFocused on problem solving and continuous improvement.\nTeam player with excellent communication skills, customer-focussed, analytical, and solution-oriented.\nAvailable for (international) travel (max 20%).\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\n27 PTO and 13 ATV days\n8% holiday pay\nA bonus plan\nDiscount on several insurances\n50/50 pension contribution\nAD06\nJob Category\nQualityRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
