If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Supply Chain Analyst located in Prai or Batu Kawan, Penang.\nIn charge of customer interface on strategic materials for key assigned accounts. Hold up material manager or director to develop, implement GPSC reports, data research trends to facilitate resolutions making.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nDrives sourcing/pricing strategies in materials quotations.\n\nPresents materials value-add to customers or suppliers, and influence customer to use Flex preferred suppliers.\n\nInterfaces with customer or supplier in new project start-up, for cost of ownership issues.\n\nDevelops and guides implementation of flexibility and supply assurance plans.\n\nManages component cost/price on a local, regional and global basis.\n\nTracks materials financial performance and initiate corrective actions when required.\n\nDefines and implements pricing and costing strategies.\n\nCoordinate sourcing strategies with Supply Management and Customers.\n\nDevelop and implement cost take down strategies.\n\nIncrease Vendor Managed Inventory, Reduced Guide-Time and Electronic Data Interface penetration.\n\nSpecialized Job controls may be required for certain positions. These could include on or more of the following duties:\nSupply Management:\nManage regional supplier contract negotiations, which includes Memorandums of Comprehension, Non-disclosure and regional pricing agreements.\n\nDevelop and maintain supplier relationships.\n\nMeasure and report Purchase Price Variance and initiate action plans.\n\nMonitor and manage supplier times.\n\nMitigates shortages, excess on order and excess on hand.\n\nParticipate on and help global and regional commodity teams.\n\nContribute information/data on top spend suppliers for quarterly scorecards.\n\nCustomer Supply Chain Management:\nManages material cost reviews.\n\nDrive initiatives to improve gross material margin.\n\nIdentify, implement and drive actions for Retained Purchase Price Variance (RPPV) optimization.\n\nDrive reconciliation process with customer (PPV, Premium charges, carrying costs, freight charges, excess and obsolete inventory, Non-cancelable, Non-Returnable (NCNR), etc.)\n\nIdentify opportunities to increase turnkey business and develop materials management plan.\n\nCoordinate quarterly/monthly PPV hard call process.\n\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nTypically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.\n\nTypically requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, materials sourcing, commodity management or supply chain design/management or other related area.\n\nWhat you’ll receive for the great work you provide:\nMedical benefits, dental, vision\n\nLife Insurance\n\nPaid Time Off\n\nPerformance Bonus\n\nNB87\nJob Category\nGlobal Procurement & Supply ChainRequired Skills:\nOptional Skills:\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
