If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job Summary\n\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Warehouse Manager located in Buffalo Grove, IL.\nReporting to the manager the potential candidate would the Night Shift Warehouse Manager operates with a high degree of independence, exercising sound judgment and data-driven decision-making to address operational challenges, allocate resources, and maintain uninterrupted warehouse operations in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment.\nThe Manager would lead and manage all warehouse operations during the assigned shift to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials supporting manufacturing and customer requirements. This position serves as the highest-ranking operational leader on shift and is responsible for driving safety, quality, inventory accuracy, productivity, and on-time material delivery performance.\nShift hours : 6:00 pm - 2:00 am CST\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nLead all warehouse functions during the assigned shift, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material movements, shipping activities, and production support.\nServe as the primary operational decision-maker during the shift, utilizing available data, business priorities, and operational requirements to make timely and effective decisions.\nEnsure all materials are delivered accurately and on time to support factory production schedules and customer commitments.\nMaintain a safe work environment by enforcing all safety procedures, leading incident investigations, implementing corrective actions, and promoting a culture of safety accountability.\nDrive compliance with quality standards, training requirements, and operational procedures to ensure consistency and operational excellence.\nMonitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, reconciliation activities, and adherence to inventory control processes.\nLead productivity improvement initiatives by optimizing labor allocation, workflow efficiency, equipment utilization, and warehouse processes.\nAnalyze operational performance metrics and initiate corrective actions to address gaps in safety, quality, delivery, inventory accuracy, and productivity.\nProvide direct leadership, coaching, performance management, and development for supervisors and hourly associates.\nAdminister employee discipline, attendance management, coaching, and staffing decisions in alignment with company policies and procedures.\nFoster a culture of accountability, ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.\nEffectively communicate operational priorities, shift performance, staffing concerns, and business updates across all levels of the organization.\nManage labor resources to support fluctuating business demands while maintaining productivity and service expectations.\nEnsure proper operation and maintenance of forklifts, material handling equipment, and warehouse infrastructure.\nUtilize the Baan ERP system and other business tools to monitor operational performance, inventory transactions, and workload planning.\nPartner with peer managers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and alignment on operational objectives.\nSupport Lean Manufacturing initiatives through waste reduction, process improvement, standard work adherence, and continuous improvement activities.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum 5-7 years of warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations leadership experience. Experience working in lean manufacturing environments.\nExperience leading supervisors and hourly employees in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple competing responsibilities.
