The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support, infrastructure management, hardware troubleshooting, and peripheral installations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and will provide top-notch support to our internal users. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others and creating a positive user experience. This role will be based out of the Grand Rapids location. \n\nAn IT Support Technician II at Flexco can expect a starting hourly range between $31.00 and $39.00 or more, depending on skills, education and experience. \n\nInternal Flexco employees must be in good standing to apply and it is expected that each employee inform their manager before applying. \n\nWhat you will need: \nBachelor's degree in computer science or information technology field.\nProfessional certification such as CompTIA A+, M365 Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent are a huge plus \nITIL, A+, Help Desk Analyst or Field Service Technician Certification is a plus\nCCNA or Network+ Certification a plus\n5 years of experience installing and maintaining Windows based Servers and various operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.\n5 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining PCs, laptops, and printers.\nExperience supporting MAC systems will be a plus\nExcellent oral and written communication skills.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.\nAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects.\nAbility to work collaboratively with others to solve problems.\nWhat you will be doing:\nUser Support and Issue Resolution via phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.\nIncident Management\nHardware and Software Support\nUser Account Management and Access Control\nAsset Management\nAct as project lead for telecommunication, audio/visual (AV), handheld terminal and printer deployment projects.\nResearch, recommend, implement, and maintain audio/visual (AV) solutions.\nFlexco is an equal-opportunity employer offering a generous compensation and benefits package including:\nMedical (including Rx), dental, vision on day one of employment\n401(k) with up to 8% matching funds\n12 paid holidays per year\n10 days of vacation and 10 days of personal time (additional time after 5 and 20 years of employment with Flexco) \nTuition reimbursement/educational assistance\nAnnual bonus, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and more.\nThis is your opportunity to work in an environment where the culture is focused on People First, Better Together, Customer Centered, Forward Thinking and Committed to Excellence.
