This role will require a minimum of 3-5 years in a quality related role and a bachelors degree in a quality related field. \n\nPurpose: \n\nResponsible for executing and sustaining quality systems, processes, and performance within the site or assigned areas of responsibility. This role ensures product and process quality through effective problem solving, data analysis, audit participation, and cross-functional collaboration. The QE serves as a key contributor to quality execution, owning assigned responsibilities and delivering accurate, timely results that support site and regional objectives. This role builds the foundation for expanded ownership, cross-site coordination, and leadership capabilities required for progression into the Lead Quality Engineer role.\n\nWhat you will need: \nBachelor’s degree required in: Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.\nPossess or willing to obtain at least one quality-related certification (e.g., CQE, CQA, Green Belt) within the first year of employment.Experience Requirements:\nMinimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment including hands-on inspection using standard measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM).\nWorking knowledge and practical application of quality management systems and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, SPC, Control Plans, Root Cause Analysis, basic Lean/Six Sigma).\nExperience participating in problem-solving efforts to address internal, supplier, or customer quality issues.\nDemonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support resolution of quality concerns.\nExperience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting quality data to identify trends and support decision-making.\nRequires lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 45 pounds, as well as pushing and pulling forces consistent with company safety limits.\nAbility to travel up to 10% - Domestic\n\nWhat you will be doing: \nInvestigate internal, supplier, and customer quality issues, supporting timely containment, resolution, and follow-through to closure.\nLead or contribute to structured problem-solving efforts (e.g., RCA, 8D), ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented and sustained.\nPartner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Service) to resolve quality issues and improve process performance.\nMonitor, analyze, and report quality metrics, ensuring data accuracy and identifying trends that require action or escalation.\nExecute and sustain site-level quality processes, ensuring compliance with established standards, procedures, and work instructions.\nPrepare and communicate data analysis results, providing clear insights and recommendations to support quality and process improvement.\nApply and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, including defining parameters, analyzing results, and supporting operator understanding as needed.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve product quality, reduce variability, and enhance efficiency.\nContribute to FMEA development and updates, supporting risk identification and mitigation in product and process design.\nParticipate in internal audits and support external audits, ensuring documentation accuracy and alignment with quality standards.\n\nCompensation\n\nQuality Engineers at Flexco can expect a starting annual compensation of between $70,000.00 and
