This is a crucial role in supporting the company’s growth into regulated industries.\nWhat you will do\nBuild and integrate technical security features and controls into our web application and internal administration platforms\nImplement and maintain AWS security controls, including IAM, encryption, backups, logging, monitoring, and alerting\nSecurely orchestrate customer jobs and data across cloud and HPC environments\nBuild and respond to alerts from security logs covering both cloud and on-premises hardware\nDeploy and manage vulnerability scanning tooling; collaborate with developers to triage and remediate findings\nFix and validate remediations of penetration test findings\nHarden and secure on-premises HPC infrastructure\nMaintain and improve compliance tooling integrations, identify gaps, and drive remediation efforts\nRequirements\nStrong hands-on engineering experience in at least one of:\nBackend software engineering\nDevOps / Infrastructure engineering\nSecurity engineering, with a focus on building than maintenance\nExperience securing cloud environments, ideally AWS\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)\nExperience deploying or working with CI/CD pipelines\nWorking knowledge of application and infrastructure security fundamentals\nMust be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe are looking for backend software engineers, devops engineers, or security engineers, as long as you are hands on and are interested in security. You will join a team of infrastructure engineers in an engineering-first company which is at the frontiers of HPC-based simulations.
