Must build and maintain a strong working relationship with the Data Center Technician (DCT) and provide hands-on training as required.\nKey Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions\n24x7 facility on-call responsibility\nMonitor and maintain the operations, maintenance and repair of all mission-critical equipment and systems supporting 24x7 data center operators to achieve 99.999% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs.\nVendor relationship management\nRead and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications, project plans and other technical documents.\nDrive change toward operational excellence goals.\nIdentify constraints and propose solutions\nAssist in disaster recovery \"dry run\" exercises\nAssist in commissioning efforts\nMaintain AHJ requirements\nMaintain and implement change windows per company policies.\nAssist in the provisioning of power for customer orders and other electrical modifications as assigned while maintaining a safe work environment\nAssist with off-hours and weekend maintenance activities when required.\nAssist with reports on customer utilization, including space and power.\nBe able to read and prepare Method of Procedures (MOP) & Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all maintenance and operational aspects of the data center.\nPerform the assigned facility(s) rounds to ensure proper equipment operation, aesthetics, and cleanliness.\nMonitoring/alerting of facility equipment\nPerform other duties as assigned by management\nRequired Qualifications\n2 Years of data center experience\n4+ years of experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting/problem solving\nExperience working with building automation\n4+ years of experience within a critical infrastructure environment.\nAn understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical data center operations, including systems such as feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, ATS units, PDU units, chillers, pumps, air handling units, and CRAH units\nApplicable military experience\nApplicable trade experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nElectrical or mechanical certifications (Associates degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline)\n5+ years of experience working in data centers with an emphasis on building and equipment operation\nMeets/exceeds functional/technical depth and complexity\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to sit for extended periods of time\nWalk or Stand for 50% of the time\nModerate or advanced keyboard usage\nLift 50 lbs.\nTravel 5% of the time\nSafety Hazards\nThis position has the following safety hazards:\nChemical\nElectrical\nErgonomics\nClimb ladders\nMechanical lift\nNoise\nTemperature Extremes\nTrip/Fall\nDriving (must possess valid driver's license and insurance)\nCompensation\nBase Pay Range: Hourly salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $36.00 - $38.00.
